Founded in 1955, to supply domestic industry with Carbon Black, an important raw material used in the tire, rubber and plastics industries, Copebrás has diversified its operations over the years in order to keep pace with the country's economic development. Today, its production focus is on phosphates, both for the cleaning area and others, with Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP), and for agriculture, with an extensive line of phosphated fertilizers and raw materials for the animal feed industry.
